As healthcare is at a critical juncture, innovators are key to building the future of value-based healthcare. Air Liquide Healthcare reasserts its commitment to transforming healthcare and bringing greater value to the healthcare ecosystem by its presence at the Redefining Healthcare Summit, an international reunion in Barcelona organized by The Value Institute and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).

The Redefining Healthcare Summit convened people making change happen in healthcare to share success stories, find new solutions and build a community of “doers” who will accelerate the healthcare transformation.

Air Liquide Healthcare sponsored the event and four Air Liquide Healthcare representatives met with researchers, scholars and healthcare transformation leaders to discuss the future of homecare and patients’ outcomes’ improvement.

The event was organized to:

Engage the community around shared interests and consider the opportunities to accelerate healthcare transformation.

Empower participants by working through actual market and patient challenges in small, interactive seminars, such as how to ignite value-based procurement, how to understand patient needs and truly deliver patient-centered care, and how to develop novel models of care delivery.

Ignite a new network, by discussing opportunities for shared initiatives to accelerate healthcare transformation, creating a global community committed to growing the adoption of value-based care, and affirming a commitment to redefining healthcare, improving outcomes that matter to patients and increasing value.

Following the Redefining Healthcare Summit, Air Liquide Healthcare took part in a panel discussion as part of the EIT Health Matchmaking event just three weeks later. The panel discussion addressed the topic of High Value Care, and Air Liquide Healthcare presented the unique role it plays in the healthcare ecosystem, demonstrating that its home healthcare services plays a vital role in the healthcare system, filling the gap in care between hospital and home, ensuring more responsive, flexible and coordinated care. Air Liquide was joined by representatives from the NHS, Wales and the Karolinska Institute, Sweden.
