Our Food Safety Policy

Air Liquide Far Eastern supplies industrial gases to various market sectors, including the food and beverage industry. In this sector, gases are used as ingredients, additives or processing aids in contact with food and must comply with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements in accordance with their intended use.

To address these industry-specific requirements, the ALFE has implemented a Food Safety Management System (FSMS) applicable to its operations.

Notably:

• ALFE is committed to implement all appropriate food safety measures related to the use of its gases in food manufacturing processes.
• ALFE monitors parameters critical to food safety, conducts periodic management reviews and strives to continually improve the effectiveness of its FSMS.
• Each ALFE employee is committed to comply with the guidelines relating to the hygiene concept.
• In the event that non-conforming product is detected, ALFE is committed to inform the customers involved and withdraw this product.
