Our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Policy

Air Liquide is committed to continual improvements in the area of health, safety, and the environment. Our goal is zero accidents in safety and zero incidents of environmental non-compliance.

Outstanding Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) performance and the health, safety of our customers, employees and contractors are critical to the success of Air Liquide Far Eastern’s business. No activity is so important that it can be performed without safety and respect to the environment.

Our HSE Management System is based on Air Liquide’s corporate Industrial Management System (IMS) which is consistent with international standards, such as ISO 14001(Environment Management system), ISO45001(Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series), CNS 45001 (Taiwan Occupational Safety and Health Management System).

We are dedicated to achieving HSE excellence in all of our industrial activities, and providing a healthy working environment, including the promotion of abnormal workloads to promote disease prevention, human-induced hazards prevention, maternal health protection, and workplace illegal infringement prevention. Ensure that all company operations comply with HSE regulations.

Our values are uncompromising – all injuries and incidents are preventable and we can reach our goal of zero accidents and environmental incidents.

All individuals, whether they are executives, managers, or employees have a responsibility for HSE. Everyone must be personally involved and be accountable for achieving outstanding results. Safe behavior and compliance with safety and environmental protection rules are key principles of Air Liquide Far Eastern. Violation to these rules will be subjected to disciplinary actions stipulated by the company.

HSE forms an integral part of our business activities and is implemented in all planning, execution, and decision-making processes. In the context of its activities, ALFE supports the principles for a “Sustainable Development” as well as the international “Responsible Care” initiative of the chemical industry. ALFE Executive Committee herewith commits to providing the necessary resources, training, and equipment to implement this policy and to achieve outstanding HSE performance.


Our HSE goal is simply stated “To achieve zero accidents, zero environmental incidents and sustainable environment”, by:

  • Preventing all injuries, impact to the environment and damage to property.
  • Complying HSE regulations related to our industrial activities.
  • Complying “LIFE SAVING RULES”.
  • Identifying and reducing HSE risks and hazards, and improving our performance.
  • Implementing employee Health consultation and care. 
  • Implementing planning and training effectively to carry out the HSE policy.
  • Implementing energy saving and strive to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
