Our products and services offer

Carrier gases

Manufacturing electronic devices in a sterile environment is fundamental. Our ultra-pure gases (nitrogen, oxygen, argon, hydrogen, helium, CO2) guarantee the cleanliness and stability of our customers’ processes. Air Liquide supply these gases in bulk, via pipelines or via production with on-site dedicated plants.

Advanced materials

Delivered in canisters in small quantities, advanced materials are the basis for manufacturing ever more compact and powerful semiconductor chips. These highly complex processes are the key to improving the performance of electronic devices.

Specialty materials

Electronics specialty materials are the key process gases and chemicals to be used in the process for manufacturing of electronic components included anywhere from 20 to 250 steps.

Equipment & Installations

We also supply equipment for the distribution of gas and chemical products and install them at our customers’ facilities.

The environmental benefits of the enScribe™ range

Among the Group’s latest innovations are enScribe™ range of advanced etching materials that facilitate the manufacturing of complex 3D memory structures, while greatly reducing the environmental impact. By adopting enScribe™, a major semiconductor manufacturer is reducing industry-wide carbon equivalent emissions by 1%.

140,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions were avoided in 2020 by the electronics industry thanks to Air Liquide's enScribe™ solutions.
